There has never been a more exciting time for Contemporary Art in Ireland than the last decade. During this period an unprecedented number of the current generation of Irish artists have made the vital breakthrough into the arena of international success. Many of these artists, whose work is now represented in prestigious collections worldwide, ranging from the MOMA, New York to the Tate Modern, London, will participate in the Kerlin Gallery's forthcoming group exhibition. Amongst others the exhibition will include new works by Dorothy Cross, Felim Egan, Mark Francis, Siobhan Hapaska, Kathy Prendergast and Paul Seawright. A total of 17 artists will participate, representing the full range of current art practice, from video and photography to drawing, painting and sculpture.
