Other Worlds is an examination of artistic responses to the natural environment. The exhibition explores nature, not just as a reality we encounter but as manipulated space that gives evidence of the different perceptual worlds we inhabit.
The exhibition includes artworks from the Arts Council of Ireland Collection by Richard Ashrowan, Barrie Cooke, Laura Fitzgerald, Martin Gale, Tom Haran, Vera Klute, Louis le Brocquy, Christine Mackey, Theresa McKenna, Aileen McKeogh, William McKeown, Maria McKinney, Miriam O’Connor, Tony O’Shea, Alan Phelan, Bennie Reilly, and Nigel Rolfe; Gary Coyle, Martin Gale, and Caroline McCarthy from the Irish Museum of Modern Art Collection; Dorothy Cross from Kerlin Gallery collection; and recent and newly commissioned work from Cat and Éiméar McClay, Celina Muldoon, and Charlie Scott.
