Zhou Li will exhibit as part of the 2nd Wuhan Biennale, running from 1 October 2024 – 31 May 2025 at Wuhan Art Museum, China.

The artist will show two new paintings of the Mandala. In the artist’s words:

“These two works of Mandala depict the beautiful moment of vanishment of Sand Mandala. They are a spiritual practice, reflecting the words in The Diamond Sutra that ‘they should develop a mind which does not abide in anything’. The process of painting is a search for wisdom about impermanence, non-attachment, rebirth, purification, and selflessness, as well as a response to the noisy world of human beings.”
